Hello everyone,
July 12, 2025 – Summer Sizzle – presented by Desert RV and Gamble Electric. We will open the gates at 4:45pm with a DUNK TANK on hand for you to try to dunk some of the drivers and officials.
CONGRATULATIONS to the winners at the June 28th, Independence Day Celebration event.
Dylan Jones has a clean sweep in his new Russett Southwest Super Late Model and by winning both main events it puts him leading the championship points battle by 8 points over Zane McKissick. Zane McKissick and Ron Norman finished 2nd and 3rd in the 1st main. Nick O’Neil finished 2nd and Zane McKissick 3rd in the 2nd main.
Bill Black sets quick time in the Recore Centers Thunder Trucks for the first time since 2021. David Levitt wins the main event leading every lap from start to finish over Kalvin Catlin and Bill Black rounding out the top 3. This closes the points battle with Catlin 33 points over Ron Searle Jr and Levitt only 13 points behind Searle.
Richard Dorman has another clean sweep in the RiteWay Heating, Cooling and Plumbing Pro Stocks for his 5th win of the season. Barry Levitt and Jennifer Hall round out the top 3. Dorman leads the points by 78 over Levitt with Hall 27 behind Levitt going into this weekends race.
Roger Raymond wins his first main event in the WW Williams Mini Stocks with Garette Gilliam and Mark Bertram rounding out the top 3 in a great race. Lane Campbell and Anthony Roberts round out the top 5 across the start finish line. Raymond leads Gilliam by 49 points with Lane Campbell in 3rd place 46 points behind Gilliam. This will be another exciting race you don’t want to miss.
JR Shanks gets win #6 in the WW Williams Hornets with Chad Jennings and Vincent Yesue in 2nd and 3rd. Shanks extends his points lead over Jennings who sits 59 points behind with Yesue 8 points behind Jennings in 3rd.

The Ed Morse Chevrolet Modifieds, Recore Centers Thunder Trucks, RiteWay Heating Cooling & Plumbing Pro Stocks, The Awards Store/Park Avenue Jewelers Hobby Stocks, INEX Sierra Cycles Legends and Desert Valley Landscaping Bandoleros. It will be an action-packed night you don’t want to miss. This race marks the 2nd half of the 2025 race season.
July 26, 2025 – Roasted Rattler – presented by GAT Racing and Reliable Cars. The Ed Morse Chevrolet Modifieds will return with dual main events along with the RiteWay Heating Cooling & Plumbing Pro Stocks, The Awards Store/Park Avenue Jewelers Hobby Stocks, WW Williams Mini Stocks and WW Williams Hornets and the INEX Sierra Cycles Legends and Desert Valley Landscaping Bandoleros are all back at the “Action Track Built for Speed”.
August 9, 2025 – First Responders Night with Back to the Blue – presented by Interstate Batteries and Jim Click Auto Team. Russett Southwest Super Late Models with double mains, Recore Centers Thunder Trucks, The Awards Store/Park Avenue Jewelers Hobby Stocks, WW Williams Mini Stocks and WW Williams Hornets return for another great night of racing to celebrate all our First Responders.
This Saturday is an exciting event you don’t want to miss….. DUNK TANK in action with Drivers and Officials…..

NASCAR Stickers are REQUIRED as are the class sponsor Windshield Banners.
Reserved Pit Stalls have been painted with the CAR #’s. If the stall has a car number painted in place, that stall is rented for the season. The Reserved is painted wrong, if it says Reserved – it’s not, if it’s blank – it is Reserved. Therefore, please use the Car # to identify if the stall is taken. THANK YOU ALL for your help with this!!
CAR Registration forms are available at the back gate registration trailer – everyone must register their car number and complete a W-9 for the 2025 race season if you haven’t already done so.
SPONSORS – We want to thank all our long time and new partners & sponsors at Tucson Speedway. Many of them have banners at the track. We want to remind you to support our sponsors who support the track to keep local short track racing alive in our community.
I have included the weekends race schedule, flyer, and the July 26th Roasted Rattler flyer. If you can print one to hang and promote the race, that would be great. Maybe post it at your sponsor’s place of business too!!
