SPEARS Cars Tour West Pro Late Models Join 2026 Chilly Willy 150 Weekend
Tucson Speedway’s 13th annual Chilly Willy 150 weekend, presented by O’Rielly Chevrolet, is January 16-18 and is headlined by Sunday’s 150-lap $20,000 to win Super Late Model event.
Longtime Turkey Shoot 125 supporter Dwight Kennedy of Northern Provincial Pipelines has arranged six $1,000 bonuses to be paid to Sunday’s race leader on laps 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, and 149 in the Chilly Willy 150.
The Spears Cars Tour West Southwest Pro Late Models will kick off their 2026 season in the SoundGear 125 during Chilly Willy weekend, marking the series' first visit to “The Action Track Built For Speed.”
Series Co-Owner Kevin Harvick will run the event alongside his son Keelan, who recently became the youngest driver to win the Snowflake 125 during Snowball Derby weekend at Five Flags Speedway.
Before becoming a NASCAR Cup champion, Kevin competed at Tucson Speedway in the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Tour, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and Winter Heat Series. He won his first career Southwest Tour race in 1995 here in Tucson.
NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series driver William Sawalich is also running the event. Sawalich is a two-time ARCA Menards Series East Champion and has two ARCA wins at Phoenix Raceway.
The Cars West Pro Late Models will qualify on Friday for the SoundGear 125, which will be run as Saturday’s main event following the Chilly Willy Super Late Model qualifying mains.
Super Late Models will race all three days. Saturday qualifying will lock the top-2 drivers to the front row for Sunday’s main event and set the starting order for the twin 50-lap qualifying mains.
INEX Legends also race all three days. Sunday’s events will serve as Regional Qualifiers with the top finishing drivers from the Masters, Pro, Semi-Pro, and Young Lion divisions earning an automatic bid to compete at the INEX Nationals at the end of 2026.
